| Fraser and I make dinner every second night and my recipe repertoire is starting to lack. Okay, it always lacked, but you didn't know that for the first two weeks of cooking. Help me think of new things that I can make for dinner. Right now we make one of these: Orange-ginger Pasta Salad Spaghetti/meat sauce Other pasta/cheese sauce (tortellini alfredo is my favorite!) with asparagus Potato Bacon Chowder Pirogies Hamburgers

| If you have an oven roasts arnt overly difficult to make delicious. For a roast beef sized for about 4 people thaw it for 4-8 hours on the counter/in a roasting dish. dampin the top with vinigar( helps break up the fat and tenderize) wine also works well. put in the oven for about an hour on 350. Take out. have a sliced up onion peppers some garlic ready to put in. Place them on and around the roast. Put back in for another hour and a half-2 hours. Remove and use the drippings to make gravy. There are many ways to do this so i wont go into it. for a real treat put some raw carrots in around the base of the roast. They suck up some of the juices and taste incredable. Serve with mashed potatoes/ baked potatoes and your set. | |

| those are all pretty good ideas. i'd love to do a steak dinner but it's pretty expensive (same with roast). that's why we like pasta since it's fairly cheap and fills you up.
tonight we're making tacos. we also get those premade lasagna/shepherds pie and they're pretty goodddd. | |
